Dressage
The AWEA Dressage Club came into existence when the North East Victorian Dressage Club transferred to AWEC in 2003. The Club exists to foster the sport of dressage and to run EFA-affiliated dressage events and training days in Albury. All AWEA members are automatically Dressage Club members.
The Dressage Club runs three official EFA competitions and numerous training or protocol days during the year.

Even if you don’t ride or own a horse, you can still be involved in dressage because helpers are always needed at events and assisting with the many tasks involved in running a competition. It's a good way to start to get involved.

Please contact Andrea Williams, on 0412 859 756 if you’d like to know more about our Dressage Club or may be available to help at a competition day.

Adult Riding Club
The Albury Wodonga Adult Riding Club was formed in 2004 by a group of riders who were (in their own words!) too old for Pony Club but not up to open competition, and thought it would be fun to have their own club. Currently with 47 members, the ARC holds monthly rallies and operates within the guidelines of the Horse Riding Clubs of Victoria and participates in statewide competitions. Monthly rallies consist of group lessons or other activities. The Club also holds a number of competitions (showing, dressage, combined training) throughout the year.

If you don’t own or ride a horse, it doesn’t matter. There are also many opportunities to learn about officiating at ARC events and we would love anyone who can help run the canteen!

Contact Sharene Nicholls (ie replace Danielle Bender and ph no)  on 0429 138 123 or awarc@hotmail.com for membership information. The cost to join ARC is your AWEA membership plus $90. Further information is available at www.awarc.webs.com

Horse Trials
The Albury Wodonga International Horse Trials Club was established in 1998 and the first event was held in 1999. The impetus for this group of horse trials enthusiasts to get together was their common desire to create an international standard event at AWEC. This has indeed been achieved over the past decade with many riders vying for Australian team selection performing at our highly regarded event.

The AWEC cross-country course is named in honour of Andrew Hoy, Australia’s famous Olympian, who hails from this region.

The Horse Trials Club has between 8-20 members, and usually conducts one major competition, two cross-country jumping clinics and two unofficial combined training competitions each year.

The only pre-requisite for membership is that you are a member of the AWEC. Contact club secretary Henri Cruddas or events secretary Angela Ramsay for more details. Everyone is welcome, even if you don’t ride or own a horse.

Jumping
The Jumping Club is just in its infancy but we do have access to excellent facilities and a variety of great equipment. With just a few keen jumping enthusiasts involved at present, we are looking for AWEC members with some time to help organise training competitions and instructional clinics.

The long term  view is to conduct an official competition. For more information please contact Meredith Watson on 0409 377 539 or AWEC Office Administrator Linda Martins.

Polocrosse
Albury-Holbrook Polocrosse Club was established in 1984 and has been involved with the AWEC since 2003 when we developed polocrosse fields and shedding to facilitate play at the venue. Our club has a strong family membership and usually boasts 40-50 players ( one of the largest in Australia).

Our season commences in April each year, with practices starting mid to late February and rotating between Albury & Holbrook. For information contact: Elissa Koch elissa.koch@bigpond.com
